Boeing Threatened To Lay Off Staff After Lossing $641M In First-Quarter

Boeing has announced it’s plan to reduce it’s workforce on Wednesday after recording loss $641 million in a first-quarter due to effect fromcoronavirus outbreaks cross the globe.

In a message that accompanied an earnings release, targated at the employees, the Chief Executive, David Calhoun, made known the aerospace giant plans to reduce its workforce by 10 percent through a combination of voluntary and involuntary layoffs and will slash production of its main commercial planes, including the 787 and 777.
