Gov. Ugwuanyi has turn back many who disobeyed the inter-state ban to travel in vehicles entering Enugu from Ebonyi State.
The Enugu State governor ban inter-state movement. This was in effort to contain the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in the state.
The Governor turn back many of the vehicles owners when he paid an unscheduled visit to the boundary between Enugu-Ebonyi to check out on how people are complying with the inter-state movement ban.
The governor who met over 150 vehicles queued at the Enugu axis of the boundary, attempting to enter the state,
On arrival, the governor met hundreds of vihecles at the axis of the of the Enugu boundary trying to enter the state. This prompted him asking each driver to know their mission to the state.
From his findings, some the vehicle on essential duties were allowed to pass after interrogation. Over 100 of the vehicles trying to enter the state to turned back to the Ebonyi State axis from where they were coming from.
