Governor Udom Emmanuel, during a live media chat yesterday, announced that there will be no church services for now.
Udom Emmanuel is one governor that love church so much as seen in his performance. But due to critical time like this (COVID-19 season), the governor said there is nothing we can do.
“We cannot allow church services because of the level of interaction after those services. You know We are Africans and we love ourselves. You can’t take that communal life away from our people.”
Please join your services online, the governor said.
Governor Udum drew attention to today’s technology and advice Pastors to preach through adequate technology as they be able to reach the whole world and not only to members of a particular church alone.
He also advice Akwaibomite and residence of the state to join services online
“Gather your family at home and join services online. The same God in the church will bless you at home, he said.”
