The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), have said that it’s men narrowly escaped death after they were attacked by hoodlums on Saturday night.
The men of LASEMA were in the process of rescuing some victims involved in a road accident which occurred as a mechanical failure of a -14 seater passenger commercial bus, trying to navigate through the Oke-Gbegun hill in Ikorodu, Lagos state.
The vehicle in the process, rammed into a commercial motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle was killed in the process.
Confirming the incident, the Director-General of LASEMA, Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, explained that the LASEMA Response Team, were attacked by hoodlums on Saturday night as they were trying to perform their essential duties during COVID-19 lockdown.
