The Ondo State Government has lifted the ban on worship centres, churches and mosques now have freedom to resume gathering.
Ondo state has recorded its second death from coronaviruss in Ifedore LGA, with over 24 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ondo State. 19 patients have been discharged while three are still on admission.
The announcement was made by the governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu at a press briefing on Wednesday.
The governor said that churches will operate only on Sundays, while mosques will only operate on Fridays. He added that all precautionary measures against the spread of COVID-19, like the use of face-mask and social distancing be observed.
