🔴HOW TO HAVE A HEALTHY PREGNANCY SO AS TO HAVE A BRILLIANT BABY GIRL OR BOY!

✔Start ANC as you are pregnant.
✔And don’t forget to attend your antenatal appointment if you’ve already started.
✔Run all your routine test like: PCV, urinalysis, Hepatitis, HIV, VDRL, Blood group and Genotype.
✔Your spouse is to run HIV, Hepatitis, VDRL, Blood group and Genotype test too.
✔Remember your TT injection💉💉
✔Remind your doctor for your antimalaria prophylaxis (fansidar) 💊to prevent you from having malaria as you are pregnant.

✔Remember to sleep under insecticides treated mosquito nets (ITMN).

✔Fansidar💊 is given from 16 weeks of pregnancy

✔You are to take 2-3 doses during the course of your pregnancy.

 

✔Remember to do your required pelvic scan.
■Dating scan (10-12 weeks)
■At 28 weeks to know if your baby has started adding weight and formed fully
■At 32-34 weeks to know if your baby has taking birthing position

✔Take your daily routine drugs💊💊❤ of:
■Folic acid 5mg
■Ferrous
■Calcium lactate
■Vitamin Bcomplex
■Vitamin C
■Multivite

✔Check your BP, weight at every visit including your doctor or midwife listening to your baby’s heartbeat.
✔You will start feeling your baby’s movement as early in your lower abdomen like something is tapping you or butterfly🦋🦋 flapping it’s wing against your body.
✔Real kick starts from 24-26 weeks especially for FTM (First Time Mothers)
✔Once your baby start kicking, it must be felt by you everyday till the day of delivery.
✔If you suspect, the kick is less or absent, quickly go to the nearest scan center for a pelvic scan.
✔If you spot or bleed at any point in your pregnancy, quickly go for a pelvic scan.
✔If you are having lower abdominal cramps that is radiating to the back and becoming unbearable, please head to the hospital🏥 immediately.

✔Engage in exercises like squatting, light dancing, swimming, brisk walking, house chores as early as you can in pregnant if you carry healthy pregnancy i.e. no history of spotting or bleeding, no low lying placenta, no high BP.
✔It is recommended to sleep on your side especially left side to supply more blood, oxygen to your placenta.
✔Be pillow friendly, always support yourself with pillows.
