Trump Sends 1,000 Ventilators To Nigeria

President Donald Trump said that he has sent 1,000 ventilators to Nigeria.

Recall that last month, President Trump place a call to Nigerian president, promising to offered ventilators to assist Nigeria in the battle against coronavirus. This is in efforts to help fight COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.

Trump said apart from Nigeria, the US is helping so many other countries.

“Nigeria, we just sent a thousand. We have various countries – France, Spain, we have a lot going to Italy, we have a lot going to probably 15, 18 countries. They’re calling us. We have the capacity to do this. Nobody else did,” he said.

The president stated that every state in the US now has more than they need and that their stockpile is totally full. He sail the country a tremendous amount of ventilators.

“So, now we’re really helping other countries where they’re losing a lot of people because they don’t have ventilators.”

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, who disclosed this during the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19 briefing.
